01Who we are

PraizEx is a Nigerian digital finance brand operated by a company registered in Nigeria. We help people buy and sell cryptocurrency, exchange currencies through a licensed Bureau De Change partner, save in dollar-value stablecoins held in their own wallets, and buy related digital products and services.

PraizEx is not a licensed securities exchange, a bank, or a deposit-taking institution. We do not hold customer deposits, we do not offer interest, yield, or investment returns, and we are not registered with, endorsed by, or insured by any securities regulator or deposit-insurance scheme. We are a service that helps you complete trades quickly and safely; you remain in control of your own funds and wallets throughout.

02Eligibility & acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use PraizEx. You must use the service for yourself, not on behalf of an undisclosed third party. By using the site or starting a trade, you confirm that you meet these requirements and accept these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the service.

03Our services

Depending on availability, PraizEx offers:

• Buy & sell crypto — supported coins on supported networks, at a live quoted rate.
• OTC — larger trades handled personally, above our published threshold.
• Bureau De Change (FX) — currency exchange powered by our licensed partner, Iron Hill.
• Dollar savings — a non-custodial way to hold value in dollar-pegged stablecoins in your own wallet.
• Gift cards, gas packs, digital products, wallet setup and merchandise — as described on their pages.

Most of a trade is completed on this website; WhatsApp is used to confirm and settle. We may add, change, suspend, or withdraw any service at our discretion.

04How a trade works & rate locks

You choose what you want to trade and receive a live quote that already includes our rate. For crypto trades, when you lock a quote the price is held for 30 minutes. If you complete your side within that window, we honour the locked rate. If the lock expires before you complete, the trade is re-quoted at the current rate.

Bureau De Change quotes have no lock timer — FX rates are confirmed human-to-human at the point of settlement and indicative until then. Gift-card values are confirmed on validation, not at the time of quote.

Each crypto trade is issued a reference in the format PZX-XXXXX. Quote it whenever you contact us about that trade.

05Pricing, fees & minimums

Our pricing is all-in: our margin is already contained in the rate you are quoted, and there is no separate service fee. The only additional charge that may appear is a blockchain network fee, and only on networks that genuinely cost more to move (for example ERC-20 and Bitcoin). Where a network fee applies, it is shown as its own line in your quote. Where it does not apply, none is charged.

Minimum trade sizes apply: a general minimum of ₦20,000 per trade, and a higher minimum of ₦150,000 for ERC-20 transfers because of Ethereum network costs. Gas Packs are exempt from the minimum. Minimums, margins, and network-fee amounts may change; the figure shown in your quote at the time is the one that applies.

06Payments & refund-to-source

Payments must come from, and payouts go only to, the bank account that has been verified in your trade. The name on the paying account must match the verified name on the trade.

Third-party payments are refunded to source, without exception. If a payment reaches us from an account that is not yours, we will return it to the originating account and cancel the trade. This protects you and others from being used to move someone else's money.

If we receive crypto or funds that cannot be matched to a completed trade (for example, you send but never complete the WhatsApp step), we will hold them until you contact us with your reference and proof, at which point normal verification applies. Overpayments are refunded to source; underpayments are settled for the actual amount received at the locked rate.

07Identity verification (KYC/AML)

To meet anti-money-laundering good practice and to keep everyone safe, we operate a tiered verification ladder:

• Every trade — your payout account is bank-verified; the verified name is your identity for that trade.
• ₦1,000,000 in a single trade, or ₦3,000,000 cumulatively within 30 days — government ID is requested.
• OTC and very large trades (around ₦8,000,000 and above) — ID plus a short, logged source-of-funds statement.

Verification applies to everyone. VIP status changes your rates and priority, never your verification. We may refuse, pause, or reverse any trade, and may decline to serve anyone, where verification fails, where we suspect fraud or unlawful activity, or where someone pressures us to skip a check. We may keep a blacklist keyed to verified account numbers.

08Your responsibilities

Crypto and wallet transactions are, by their nature, final and irreversible. You are responsible for:

• Correct wallet addresses. Check every receiving address carefully. Our confirmation step (where you confirm the first and last characters) exists for this reason. A confirmed address that later proves wrong is your responsibility.
• Correct network selection. Sending on the wrong network can lose funds. Where a mistake is on an EVM-compatible network, recovery may be possible as a goodwill gesture and may attract a recovery fee; on other networks, funds may be permanently unrecoverable. We do not guarantee recovery and disclaim liability for wrong-network sends.
• Your own wallet, keys and seed phrase. You alone hold your seed phrase and private keys. We never have them and can never recover them. If you lose them, we cannot restore your funds.
• Accurate information you provide for a trade, and lawful ownership of the funds and assets you trade.

09Dollar savings (non-custodial)

Our dollar savings service is non-custodial. Your funds are held in your own wallet, under your sole control — PraizEx never holds a balance for you, cannot freeze your funds, and cannot recover them if you lose your seed phrase.

There is no interest, no yield, and no investment return, ever. This is protection against naira depreciation, not an investment product. Dollar-pegged stablecoins such as USDT aim to track the US dollar but are not the dollar and can, in rare cases, lose their peg. You accept these risks when you choose to save this way.

10Digital products

Digital products are paid for via a hosted payment link and delivered to you after payment is confirmed. Once a digital product has been delivered, it is non-refundable, because it cannot be returned. If a product is faulty or you did not receive it, contact us and we will make it right under the Dispute Policy.

11Gift cards

Gift cards are accepted on a sell-to-us basis and are subject to validation before payment. The rate quoted is confirmed at validation; card details travel only inside your chat with us and are never uploaded to this site. Cards that are already redeemed, invalid, or obtained unlawfully will be refused, and repeated attempts may lead to a blacklist. Where a valuation is disputed, our published rate sheet is the reference.

13Risk disclosure

Cryptocurrency prices are volatile and can move sharply in either direction. The value of what you buy can fall as well as rise. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and we do not recommend any particular trade or holding. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should only trade what you can afford. Blockchain transactions are irreversible once broadcast.

14Acceptable use

You agree not to use PraizEx for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any unlawful purpose; not to trade on behalf of an undisclosed third party; not to provide false information or use payment instruments that are not yours; and not to attempt to bypass our verification. We cooperate with law enforcement and may report and refuse unlawful activity.

15Official channels & security

We publish our only official wallet addresses and contact channels on this site. We will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys, never send you a different payment address from another number, and never share our corporate account anywhere except inside your active WhatsApp trade. Anyone who does these things is not us. Urgency and pressure to skip a step are the most common signs of fraud — slow down and verify you are on an official channel.

16Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, PraizEx is not liable for losses arising from: incorrect wallet addresses or networks you confirm; loss of your seed phrase or keys; delays or failures of banks, payment processors, or blockchain networks; market movements; or your breach of these Terms. Our services are provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

17Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, with its "last updated" date shown above. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

18Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to the process set out in our Dispute Policy and, ultimately, to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
